Soft Storytelling cuddly toy for education and healthcare

Three-quarters of the children that are not feeling well, have difficulty learning or do not receive the guidance they need. Often because people do not know what is really going on. More than half of these children feel lonely. This is evident from our research among more than 200 parents, care and education professionals.

Improve communication regardless of time and place.

Give the child the Storytelling Hug and let it tell its story, so that the first emotion is out. Listen to it again at a suitable time via the app and then talk about it further together.

• The child decides whether the story will be recorded and for as long as the record button is pressed.
• The person who gives the Narrative Hug to the child is the only one with access to the recorded stories.
• Not connected to the internet.

The storytelling hug connects, offers confidence and a listening ear. It is a tool to improve communication between the child and caregiver.

The cuddly toy itself is made from soft, recycled and allergy-free fabric by the Cuddle Factory in Breda. This is a sewing workshop for young people with a mental disability and falls under the NoraWerkt foundation.
