This soft Storytelling Cuddly Toy creates connection, builds trust, and offers a listening ear. It encourages the child to tell their story, allows playback via the app, and supports further conversation together.

Advice, training and replacement are Included.

What is it?

It’s a tool designed to improve communication between client/child and caregiver/adult.

SAMbuddy is approximately 30 × 30 centimeters and is made from soft, recycled, allergy-free fabric by Atelier Unik in Breda — a sewing workshop for young people distanced from the labor market.

Inside is the “heart” containing the buttons and the app. SAMbuddy is not connected to the internet (offline safety), and only those with access can listen to the recorded stories.

Because the cuddling experience varies from child to child or client to client, you can choose from two filling options:

a soft storytelling hug toy
a weighted storytelling hug toy (3 kg)

We expect SAMbuddy to last around five years, including three years of updates and support.
